Feast of Saint John Chrysostom

"If there were no tribulation, there would be no rest; if there were no winter, there would be no summer."
- Saint John Chrysostom

Today (September 13) is the Feast day of Saint John Chrysostom, from whom our family name is based. Known as the "golden mouth" for his intense preaching and defense of the Catholic Christian faith, he is revered as one of the 33 doctors of the Catholic Church.

May the example of John Chrysostom animate us to be stewards of goodness, teachers of truth, and instruments of God's love to one another.

Happy feast day to everyone bearing the name "Crisostomo" all over the world!
