Brandon Roy hangs his sneakers

i'm not really a fan of brandon roy. i don't normally pick him in my fantasy roster because i know at one point that he will get injured. in fact, i get scared everytime he plays against the phoenix suns as he had the knack to hit game winners, buzzer beaters, and high flying dunks. he even scored 52 points against the suns at one point. after five seasons, he will take a medical retirement as his knees can no longer take the wear and tear of the nba season. nonetheless, it's always disappointing to learn that someone has to hang his sneakers due to lingering injuries. a lot of players had to retire due to knee problems, one of which was anfernee hardaway - one of my favorite nba guards not named michael jordan. i do hope though that he will pull off a grant hill in the near future.
